And Then Out of Nowhere: Pro Tools Can't Start [solved]
Upon opening Pro Tools, I receive this message:
Could not create a new document because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/194038/ProTools/DFW/Views/UMenu.MacOS.mm", line 1627. What is this?

Not ao much a fix as a workaround. Pete Gates makes a software that trashes Pro Tools prefs with the click of a button. It resets whatever keeps causing this problem, but of course, you also have to reset your I/O, playback hardware, peripherals, and all of your other settings. So, this is still eating a lot of my time. I reposted this problem as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
