Bx_console SSL 4000 E mapping?

A rather specific question.
The default eq on/off doesn’t work on the bx_console SSL 4000 E on the S6(eq mode) on an expand knob module.
Is this an issue Brainworx have to address?

Very likely, yes. I haven’t looked at all of their EQ and DYN plug-ins lately on the surface. Are you attempting to use the bottom row far right back button on the knob module when in Expand?

Yes exactly that button in expand mode.
Bottom right button doesn’t affect the plugin.
On a channel strip, is that physical button supposed to bypass the eq section or is the whole plugin supposed to go into bypass mode?
What does the mapping standard say?

Bypassing the plugin on the screen turns that led on and off on the lower right button position thou.

With Avid Channelstrip that button specifically bypasses the EQ module inside the plugin. Same for the DYN section vs a global bypass.
