What gives with system resources?
Ok - I have 2 tdm systems which may bias me - but I purchased an 002 Rack for home to do some basic scoring and minor mixing and the system really has a hard time with the following example:
I am running a dual 2.6 xeon Universal Mac with 1 gig of ram. Pro tools 7.3.1 LE 002 R 1 stereo track with Stylus RMX 1 stereo track with Kontact 1 stero track with ReWire to Live a couple of audio tracks a few instances of Massey Compressor An Aux with Digi Reverb An Aux with Digi long delay. I get lots of buffer warnings. Is this to be expected? What can I do? More ram? Thanks!

Are you projects on an external Firewire HD or secondary internal HD?

Yes. More RAM. At least 2 GB.

Guaranteed RAM from Apple is expensive.
Shop around for the best price but get return privileges if it doesn't work.
