Very exciting news! I am pumped. Love my 11R.

I will say, very odd to me to announce an audio product and not have at least one audio clip. But frankly, being new to all this, I can tell innovation is fast and furious in this industry. Odd marketing.

On the PR front, I would offer 11R owners even one complimentary amp or feature set. Just seems like a smart loss leader.

I'm saving my money for March 22!

If Avid would get close to that in the next few years for $600 more bucks, then sign me up and tell me who to pay right now.

I personally like the realistic tones from the Eleven Rack, sounds just like the amps, even when that sound is not "pleasing"

Axe FX is a way more advanced modeller with great sound and super cool update policy and has a killer feature no other rack modeller has: IRs!
But it's no audio interface.

Are they even showing it at NAMM? I didnt think it was done yet. I thought it was just an announcement for now. If its already done, they should release it now.

so Chris, Chimp? Is the EP being shown at NAMM?

If it is, im sure we will see some videos on Avid.com and Youtube before the end of NAMM on the 16th.

The Digitech GSP1101 does. I have my GSP integrated into the 11r using Control 2 for midi control and I have access to all the features. The GSP is in the 11r loop so I can move it where ever I want. Two great products, but the 11r is the better amp sim.

Why did TheChimp invite folks to bring their bass? And I thought that Hiro's twete (YES! I disrespect twitir!) was in line with an ER EP demo. I'm in college-I'm still learning. I'll get there.
