PT8 has "Paceregister return error 3"
I just installed the "downloaded"(from digidesign) PT8 upgrade on my pc, and now i'm getting a "Paceregister return an error 3". I noticed that other have had this problem but i did not seem to find the solution for it. Does any one have the answer. I have Windows xp with 2 gigs and plenty of ram, which the computer sometimes tells me i dont have enough ram, which i know i have 2 gigs in there. But the main thing is gettings PT8 up and running. Any help would be great!

Unfortunately, I don't have good news for you:
Read this post from DigiTechSupt Apparently, certain older AMD processors are not compatible. Since you haven't posted any specs of your machine, we can only guess, but it seems you will not be able to run PT8 on that machine.
