Metric Halo Channelstrip Problems

I also bought the Waves channelstrip as an alternative for the MHL strip, but this plug is half as good as the MHL.
Tiny graphics, no sample delay, sticky parameters, etc, to name a few.

I just upgraded to the MHL channelstrip for OSX and everything works very smooth .
None of the above mentioned problems have come up so far.

I just have the feeling that the the plugin layout is a bit narrower than th OS9 version.
But I can't compare it with , cause I don't use 9 anymore.
Can someone confirm this?

A few years ago I purchased some metric halo s/w.. it worked and when I called with questions or a problem they responded quickly...
BUT
over the past 3 years.... MH has ZERO customer support... I've had a couple of issues over the past couple years and e-mailed and called. HAVE NEVER had a return call or e-mail.. some of my MH s/w just stopped working a few weeks back. ( no upgrades, no downloads, no system changes... just stopped working ) I 've put in a few calls and an e-mail and again not a sound....from the s/w or them.

they are becoming clueless about support.

BTW, I'm having version 2.01 for OSX.
I lined up 12 strips in a session.
Looped a 30 min session for about 4 hours. Everything is running Smooooooooooooooth.

I just did a paid upgrade from OS9 to the OSX version. that's what I got
Day two with heavy use of channelstrip , still no, problems
I'm so happy I have this baby back

Here's a tip that works for me: If I encounter problems with an CS insert, I deactivate/reactivate
it. Voilà! No restart.

wow. what a thread. I used to use channelstrip on all of my session templates. I loved it. It fell nicely on the hui dsp knobs, where waves mapping is useless.
I was a pretty early OSX adopter, so i have been living without CS for a long time. I miss it, but i am getting used to Renn EQ, and the oxford i got with the massive pack. Of course couldn't wait.
Now, i don't think i'll get back in, as much as i miss it, due to all the bad experiences people are reporting, though i must say i had nothing but great experiences with them over the years in os9. I got CS light with a mix pack, way back, then found a bug where the input gain would randomly drop 15 dB. For discovering this bug, and because i complained very loudly from a three AM all night session while trying to make up for the damage this caused to a deadline-burdened film mix, they gave me the full version for free.
They were always easy to get on the phone, and I became good buddies with Dan Metivier over the phone and email. Apparently he is no longer there. Any one know where he is?
