Default HD driver 2024.3 not working properly with Ventura 13.6.3?

Updated to Pro Tools 2024.3 and also updated to HD driver 2024.3.
Pro Tools works fine, but HD Native Thunderbolt is not present anymore as ASIO device in Mac OS.
Downgraded only the HD driver to 2023.3 and Mac OS can use HD native thunderbolt again as audio device.
Pro Tools still seems to work fine with this mismatch in versions as far as I can tell up till now.

You mean CoreAudio? ASIO is for Windows, the dark side of the force.

No issues here. It was just a minor update, so it should not have messed anything up.
Been mixing a series for several days and nothing to report. As solid as it was and grateful for that! G

Hmmm interesting, I see you’re on 13.6.5. Maybe the problem is the fact I’m on 13.6.3

Not sure. But all of the last 3 updates are security related only as far as what Apple says about it.

I have had no issues since I went up to Ventura for months or since I upgraded to my New Mac Studio form a 10 yr old Mac Pro Trash Can.
I always repair the internal drive with Disk Utility before or after, which seems to keep things solid here. One friend I had do that said it fixed his issues he was having. You just have to launch into the internet recovery mode. If you are on an Apple Silicon Mac, then you just start the Mac by holding the power button for about 8-10 seconds and then I will launch correctly to repair using Disk Utility. Maybe that will help your thing. Repair all the partitions starting at the bottom to the top. Note to start at the very bottom of the tree. My image was not quite at the bottom.
