Default SSL plug-ins and a version of Pro Tools | First with white-listed plug-ins

Hi!

I have recently purchased SSL 2+ which comes with a selection of SSL Native plug-ins and a special version of Pro Tools | First which enables them (if I understand correctly, the plug-ins must be white listed in this special version). However when I download the special version following all instructions (I provide the Serial Number of SSL 2+, etc) I only get the standard free version of Pro Tools | First which does not support thirt party plug-ins.

According to SSL support this is because I have already used the standard free version of Pro Tools | First (this is correct). So, what they proposed is to create a new Avid account, get the special version of Pro Tools | First with this new account and then ask Avid to migrate it to my current account with my current email address. Now the questions come:

Is it a safe way to proceed? I have not found how to put a request to migrate Avid accounts! Does anybody know how to put such a request?

If I create the second account, should I

(a) provide my current iLok account for the new Pro Tools | First license,

or should I

(b) create a new iLok account for the new license? And then ask both Avid and iLok to migrate the new accounts to the initial e-mail address?

Option (b) seems like a real trouble, since contacting iLok support is even more difficult! On the other hand, I have no idea whether (a) would work fine. Please help!
