Pro Tools HD2 8.1-9.0 using ProControl

Anybody out there running ProContol with HD. I went up to PT9 and it became intermittent. Went back to 8.1 and somewhat stable but still losing connectivity with the usual HUI ethernet error pages. Not a comfortable environment to work in especially with clients.Anyone have any gems of wisdom about continuing with a ProControl as PT moves forward. I did all the suggestions via AVID on paid support with their comments it is no longer supported. Intimating buy a D-Command? which I don't want to do. Feel free to reach me directly.
