Using Pro Tool WIth Two MIDI Keyboards
I am trying to use Native Instruments B4II with two keyboards in Pro Tools. One of the keyboards controls the lower manuals, the second keyboard controls the upper. It all works fine in standalone mode, however, Pro Tools only seems to record and send one channel. Is it possible to record two separate midi channels on one track with Pro Tools, or does it combine all midi channels on each track?

Re: Using Pro Tool WIth Two MIDI Keyboards
I believe that by default the upper manual is midi channel 1, lower manual is number 2 and pedals is number 3. Use multiple midi tracks and assign midi output channels accordingly.
You can assign multiple output channels on a single track too, but this would be a big mess, no?
