Default IBM ThinkPad T Series (except for T43 model) ???

Has anyone verified or tested if the New IBM T3 series laptop is a good Pro Tools performer.
Digi site still has the disclaimer "except for T3". I'm curious, My job uses Thinkpads exclusively, so I have opportunity to get a T3 ad a good price. Any advisement is appreciated .

thanks

My understanding was that the T43 was not tested with 002 and 002 Rack, but was tested and approved with PTLE 6.9 and the Mbox:

I don't know about the T43, but I can say that the T41 is great with both the MBox and the 002r. I use it for mobile projects, from 4-16 tracks it has been very reliable without errors. I got the 2nd HD adapter and put a 7200 rpm Hitachi drive in it. That way there is no external Firewire HD. When finished with the project, I transfer the drive to a 2.5" firewire enclosure (no power required, about $15) and transfer the files the my desktop for editing. Highly recommend the T41. I suppose the T42 is just a good.

I have the T43 and have been using it for about 2 weeks. I have had very good luck with it with an MBox and 002. Actually, I can open some tracks with it that I can't open on my Desktop system that is a 2.8C with 1GB 400MHz RAM and Raid 0 Raptor Hard Disks..

I am very happy with the T43 at this point.
