Default Custom Faders moves position of all other faders!?!

Does anyone know if there is a preference on the D-Control that allows you to select a bank of custom faders without automatically banking the non-custom faders (any fader that is not used for a custom fader shows the track that was on it before custom faders were selected)?

I'll have my tracks setup where my lead vocal (for example) is on fader 9 (other tracks on fader 1-8) and when I select a custom fader group that has 8 faders in it... it now shifts my lead vocal down to where it no longer is visible and what was on faders 1-8 is now on faders 9-16...I would like the custom faders to simply cover the tracks instead of shift them. Any suggestions?

Justify your normal mix faders from the opposite end, then the CF will come "in" but not move them.

Thanks Brent. I tried to do this but now it just pushes all the non-custom fader channels the other way!

I'd really love to be able to pull up custom faders without it moving any non-custom fader tracks!

What happens if you set CF to justify to the right so that on a 16 fader board you have CF appear on faders 9-16. Your other faders 1-8 should remain where they are I think with this set up.

All the best.

That would work as long as I had tracks 1-8 showing up on faders 1-8 and didn't have any more tracks to the right of them...

... I guess I'm S.O.L.!!!
