I thought I solved my issue, however after playing with it a bit more, seems the error keeps popping up randomly. Can anyone help me out.

It might help to post a Sandra report on your system.

What version of PT are you running?

What interface are you using?

it's probably gonna be your ram settings (much previous discussion in i7 thread)

1) make sure your ram is in triple channel mode
2) put ram settings in manual mode
3) set each channel to proper timings (your current timings look kinda loose for ram speed. check ram specs)

Do you know would I go about changing my timings and setting it in tripple channel (would I have go into the BIOS?)? According to the ram, it says its timing is Timing 6-6-6-18

Ok.I went into the BIOS, and changed the Extreme Memory Profiler X.M.P. to enabled.

Was that the right way to change the RAM timing? There were so many functions, I didn't know which one to choose.

that's one way to do it. personally i would want to set mine manually and not rely on XMP profile. not tryin' to be difficult or anythin' of the sort but your manual has all that stuff covered. also i think i covered it within the last 20 pages or so in the i7 thread. as far as bein' in triple channel mode, your mobo has color-coded dimm slots that direct you

I just have 2 more questions, after I do the suggested adjustments, is there a program or way to tell if I am in triple channel memory, and a program/way to check my the new adjusted ram timings?
