Hello Christopher,

The MODULO family and parts of the GRANDE controller are currently available only for OEM manufacturers and integrators in the Radio-TV broadcasting market; they are not available for end-users.

We think that we will release a scaled-down evolution of the GRANDE controller with the integration of our DTouch DAW control SW. It will be a lot different than the GRANDE, with the capability to control Pro Tools and Cubase/Nuendo. It will be more focused on the "touch" control of Plug-In and DAW GUI, with the addition of some physical controls (motorized faders + some rotary knobs).
This was a suffered decision, dictated by the fast evolving status of the market which is more and more interested in cheaper control surfaces.

It sounds like they DT are gonna make something interesting instead of an expensive controller like the Grande obvioulsy became so if the merge the touch tech with some real fader sections it will be Extremely Interesting for the mid tier and maybe even the home user segment so I will report back as soon as I hear something more

and now with the avid control app in the near future - I gone in to wait and see mode

I noticed avid has a 20% discount on Mc control now - wonder if they waiting for the stock to get to a threshold before they release the app?

ie MC control possible discontinued? mix and transport in conjunction with the app the way forward?
