Default FW 1884 from Tascam

so i guess digidesign won´t support it as a fully implimented audiodevice, such for example: real inputs from it, like "input 9-16" from its AD-Converters...
but as an controller it would perhaps work, because it emulates the hui-protocol.
probably you´ll don´t understand what i´m meaning, cause my english is rather bad...
OK., then a second try to explain:
the DIGI 001 I/O box and all its inputs and outputs are recognized by PT LE...
so the question is, if it also would recognize the FW 1884 with all its in´s and out´s??
what are your thoughts about it?? the facts:
