Waveshell 9.91

I used the offline (ver 9.6) installer to revert back to waveshell 9.6 but I used the current version of Waves Central to do the offline install.

Also when Waves updates to a new waveshell, Waves Central uninstalls all the old versions of your plugins so you have to reinstall them for the new version.

One day I am going to try what the Waves representative recommended which was a complete uninstall of version 9.6 and a removal of any older versions of waves and additional files, reboot and install the new version 9.91.

But not today since I have a working system.

Experiencing the same thing here on Win7 64 with PT 12.7.1 HD. Downloading the 9.6 installer now... :/

The same thing here in 2 of our studios:

Win7 Pro SP1 64bit on HP Workstations with PT 12.7.1 with Waves 9.91 AAX!!!
2 different machines......

When we uninstalled Waves, PT quits w/o a crash! Windows Error report says, that waveshell aax is to blame.....

Not happy! Any ideas folks?

contact waves directly .. see what they say 1st before thinking it is PT .. roll back to waveshell 9.7 (i think that was the last one b4 9.9.1)

Make sure you are delete Waves Caches when upgrading plugins. Also make sure you Waves Shells are the correct revision and delete any old waveshells. And if you still can't get it to work contact Waves support.

You can rollback to Waves v9.6 with the offline installer and that works. It seems this might just be an issue with Windows 7 SP1 both Home and Pro. Are there any Win 10 users encountering this problem?

I'm running the latest WaveShell and Windows 10 without this issue.

Cleared everything, reinstalled. Same issue.
