Haha that's the inherent problem with Apple , they keep changing the convention. Seems at times for no reason at all....just because they can, I guess.

I personally gave up, my 2012 MP has sold, my hackintosh is now a Win10PRO and my laptop is running 10.8.5.

What does the song say? "Roof ya ball I don't wanna play.."

I'm waiting for the bagel shaped Mac Pro to come out in 2018. Totally portless.

THAT'S why I don't understand why this is divisive. If Pro Tools would stick to the OS convention (which it did for a while), then EVERYONE could be happy. But the way it is now, anyone who wants/needs fullscreen mode has to hang back at 12.6.0 or earlier.
Yes but the point is Apple should have made it the other way round, i.e. regular click for maximise, option-click for Fullscreen - not changing behaviour that's been fine for 20+ years in order to satisfy a minority of people who apparently "need" this new behaviour.

the Midi Port is the Hole !!!

and yes, i agree - add a modifier key for full screen, not change a 20 + year behavior ..

the Apple does not have the same Driver it used to .. now being driven by people that cannot look back while looking forward ..

ok... so you prefer inconsistency & having to remember which program does what?
