Core 15 with intel H55 & Mbox2

Hello. Can anyone tell me if the INTEL Core I5 processor and an 1156 socket motherboard will work with and MBOX2 running Pro Tools 6.8, Windows XP . . . . just want to know if anyone has had problems with the old MBOX2 and the new I5/I7 processors. .Processor has the Intel H55 chipset. . . . I am trying to upgrade. . Help please?
