Anyone using Omni+ProTools12HD driver+LogicProX+Yosemite
Hi all, on my old system (10.8.5), I was able to run LogicPro 9 via my Avid Omni while using Pro Tools 10/11HD if I opened the Avid Manager before opening Logic.
Last week on a whim (always a bad idea), I updated to Yosemite, ProTools12HD and LogicProX. Now I cannot get Logic9 or LogicX to see the HD Native card at all using the same method, nor by restarting the computer or power cycling the Omni, so essentially I can't record anything into Logic (but can listen with optical out from computer to the Omni). So curious if anyone is having success with this combination so I know it's possible. I suspect the new Avid driver for PT12HD may have something to do with this. Hope I can still use both.... ============== Mac Pro 3,1 8-core, 2.8ghz 8GB RAM OSX 10.10.4 PT 12 HD + Logic Pro X 10.0.5 HD Native PCIe HD Omni (current firmware) Last edited by SwirlyD; 08-29-2015 at 03:08 AM.
