Default Workspace nightmare help please !

Hi guys !
I'm running Protools 2018 latest build on Mojave MacPro 2013.
Since 2 days when I wanted to add catalogs for my wav / sfx soundbase, PT forces me to do a hard quit everytime I try to close it.
I tried all the usual things such as deleting folders or cancel tasks, and using the PT prefs utility with no sucess...
Even worse, when I restart PT, the indexing process restarts again and I cannot reopen older sessions (asking me to reling files) / creating a new session does not display waveforms on the timeline 🙄😱 !
Could you help me please,
Cheers,
Olivier
