Newb having trouble with getting Axiom 61 to work in PT LE

Whats up everyone. Im new to pro tools and I cannot seem to get my axiom 61 to send signals to pro tools LE. Ive tried adding the device various ways but nothing is working. When trying through setup>peripherals my axiom is showing up in MIDIIN2 for the input but there is no sign of it for the output. Also, I am running my device into the computer via USB and NOT midi so im not sure if the MIDIIN2 is even my device. AHHH Im so excited to start working with PT but this has been a huge road block for me. Thanks everyone
