Import audio from CD greyed out?
New one to me. I am migrating from a 2.8 8 core mac to a newer 12 core. I have reinstalled Pro Tools 10.3.7 on an OS 10.8.4 system. I have been pulling files from my sound FX drives and elsewhere, but today had to try and import from a CD. When I select a track on the CD all the options (add, copy) are greyed out and won't work. I dragged the files off the CD onto the desktop and tried to import from there and the same problem. I pulled some mp3's on the desktop and they import fine. Just the audio CD files (and I've tried a bunch of different CD's now). None will import but they will rip to iTunes just fine.
Could this be a permissions error? Maybe reinstall the OS and/or PT again? I am stumped..... |
