BTW bcwiz did you tried the 8 beta drivers with PT11 ?

No, not going anywhere near PT11 right now. Too many plugs missing, pro control doesn't work and other issues. Besides I'm afraid to mess with my iLok in case it breaks. I'm working eight days a week and can't afford problems.

Yep. I don't use the optical input much but just tried today. No dice. It seems we PT9 users have to choose: use the ADAT input, or have your recorded audio in sync.

No you dont....i found a solution .... you have to go to IO settings and reasign the adats and spdif inputs and thats all ...workd like a charm !!

Ok when it happened to me i noticed in the protools IO settings panel that the 8 beta driver
changed the default io paths..in my case the Spdif inputs were moved to 17 and 18.. and my 1 and 2 adat were moved to 9 and 10 ( defualt spdif ) so i had to move the spdif L and R input to 9 and 10 then moved all the adats io's the the right from 11 to 18 ..thats it ..


I hope that i explained well ...!!
