Noise Reducer in Pro Tools LE????
Does Pro Tools LE have a plugin that performs noise/hiss reduction of any sort that anyone is aware of? I am running 6.1, and I'm having a slight problem with some background noise that I would like to eliminate. Anyone who would be kind enough to share a procedure would be greatly appreciated for taking the time to do so.

There are lots of noise reduction plug-ins. Digidesign makes one called DINR (digidesign intelligent noise reduction). Also the waves restoration bundle is excellent for all kinds of noise, clicks, pops, and hums.

If I end up with a noisy track I send it into Sound Forge & clean it up with Bias Sound Soap. Does everything I need it to do.

A gate or expander that comes with PT may do the job.
