Or it is the combo of slate and NI. Both companies software can learn a thing or two about stability. Along with Avid now I suppose. Lol

Constantly checking plugins are up to date must be the single biggest ballache about making music in the 21st century.

I've moved every plug. The only way to get my template to open without issues is to only have Kontakt in the plugin folder. I mixed and produced 3 albums last year and scored a film with all of Slates stuff without issues. How knows whats going on. Waiting for Avid to call since I've tied every obvious trouble shooting step

Knock on wood but my slate plugs have been super stable since pt12.6. Maschine as an instrument track seems to not cause cpu spikes. But then I get weird midi delay compensation issues.
