workspace is synchronizing hard drive!!

Hi,

Just tried to access my hard drive that houses all my sound library from the workspace window and it just says "synchronizing hard drive" but there was no activity showing in the progress column, i waited 10-15 minutes then ended task.

Should it be doing this? i'll try trashing the databases and try again!
