Default EQ3 7Band Automation Glitch?

Hi All.

I use the EQ3 on all of my audio tracks in post work for quick filtering or cleanup. I keep automation enabled for all parameters with a default state of a simple high pass filter written to all.

I use the duplicate track function to create new tracks when I need them that already have my inserts/routing assigned. When duplicating I uncheck active/alternate playlists and automation.

I've been having an issue though with the EQ3 7 band defaulting to a strange state when I drag a region to the timeline. Both the input and output gains get set to -7dB and all of the filters get set to notch.

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm running Pro Tools 10.3.5 w/ cptk on a 2012 quad i7 mac mini OS 10.8.4 16 gigs ram

Thanks!
