Getting the same error on RegistrationCaseCreation web page saying:

"
"Authorization Required

You must first log in or register before accessing this page.
If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password to reset it."

So I can't submit my info for upgrade.

Need some help please?

Your support case shows 2 responses from Avid Support, with no response from you. Because you registered an older version of Pro Tools (Pro Tools 9 boxed version), you were asked to provide a scanned copy of the receipt.

Your case was closed on March 17, 2014 because you never responded to either of these emails:

Jeez, should I have gotten a free upgrade or did I just spend $700.00 horribly wrong?

Since you purchased Pro Tools 9 in April 2011, you would not have qualified for a free upgrade to v10 or 11. Pro Tools 11 free upgrade eligibility was in early April 2013, when Pro Tools 11 was announced.

You would be eligible to purchase the upgrade from Pro Tools 9, though, either from an Avid reseller or the Avid Store:

Pro Tools 11 Upgrade/Crossgrade

That upgrade would require the "surrender" of your Pro Tools 9 license, so if you did buy a new full price version of Pro Tools 11, you still have that v9 license to use on a second system, or use it to upgrade.

I'm having a problem installing PT 11. Do I need to uninstall PT 9 in order to move forward? I keep getting an error message that tells me : Error installing required components to the system. Run the application as the user that installed it and enter the Administrator password if requested. I've posted this in the software section with no responses.

Also, after upgrading to Mavericks, I received a message stating my PT 9 would not work with the new OSX, that's why I purchased the upgrade. So, since I already spent the 700 on the new version I'm guessing theree's no way to return it and upgrade. OK, well does this mean I now need to uninstall PT 9 to install the new PT 11? What can I do here? Thanks for your help.

I do not understand about this problem. I do not think you send feedback avid slowed but my problem has not been closed for renovation. I have presented my problem due to delays in some projects should not be able to respond immediately. That is an unfortunate incident, not at all desirable. you can not help me?

The following is a letter I sent

--------- Forwarded message ----------
From: Nguyen Dat <[email protected]>
Date: Thu, 27 Mar 2014 10:32:03 +0700
Subject: Re: Audio registration query [Case : 02353496]
To: [email protected]

Hi Christopher Tongol.

We apologize for the delays. I am currently very busy in the mix for film
projects, so I have not sent the photo of the bills, purchase papers for
the Mbox 3 + Protools 9 Bundle. And now I would like to send you the
equipment purchase contract with 2 sheets "Product Registration Card
Infomation" of Protool 9 and Mbox 3.

Please send back updates from Protool 9 to Protool 11.
Thank you very much.

I responded to your installation thread:
Problems Installing Pro Tools 11.1.3

As for having purchased the full version instead of purchasing an upgrade, you would need to contact the store for assistance.

I sent this to Avid Support earlier today to see if they can reopen the case.
