Default Scrubbing causes PT crash

Everytime I use the scrub function Pro Tools 2019.12 crashes. I am using Mojave 10.14.4.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Here's my setup info.
Lynx Hilo via thunderbolt
2018 15" MacBookPro
Mojave 10.14.4
2.9 GHz Intel Core i9
32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
Pro Tools 2019.12

This problem happened in Pro Tools 2019.6 as well. Everytime I scrub it for a few seconds it crashes my session.

What exact “crash” is happening... exact error messages if any, what exactly do you see happen?

When did this start happening? What changed? Does it happen for all sessions? Only one? A few?? IO buffer size? Session sample rate?

Lots more standard troubleshooting to try...

Set the IO buffer to the max size, uncheck ignore errors... what happens?
Test with other sessions and/or starting with a totally empty session
Removing all .aaxplugin files And trashing prefs again... can you reproduce with the standard minimal Plugins that get automatically reinstalled?
Creating a new admin account and repeating tests from there.
Test using BuiltIn Output as the playback engine?
