I/O channel count for current playback device has changed. Please restart Pro Tools
Hello,
Rebuilt PC fresh with windows 10. I get this msg quite a bit now. Never seen it before. My interface is a focusrite saffire 56. Saw other threads mention aggregate io, but that is for macs. Also, I got the chris lord alge slate training session and it hangs my pt saying it can't initialize my saffire... Then goes not responding. My other sessions work OK except for the msg in the subject from time to time when trying to load them. Thanks, Doug |

Re: I/O channel count for current playback device has changed. Please restart Pro Too
Has Windows designated the Sapphire as your default audio device? Go into control panel and set the onboard audio as the Windows default sound device. (BTW, Windows 10 is not PT qualified yet.)
