The Audio Stems from the Virtual Instruments?
I'm sure that as a new convert to PT on the Mac from Sonar on the PC, that I'm simply missing something in translation.
Can anyone advise how to get the audio from the virtual instrument to generate audio on the adjacent track? I can see/hear the midi info fine, can edit it easily enough, I just want to be able to commit it to audio shortly after tracking it. In Sonor, this was called "Freeze Synth", and if you wanted to go back to edit any midi data, you just "Unfreeze". Looking for the PT equivalent, if any. Thanks in advance for any counsel.
