Default Mac-Windows compatibility?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I've got a windows PT LE system, and I want to give my project to a friend who is using a mac with PT LE. Will the project files be compatible?

How you accomplish that depends on the version of PT, though. In 6.x and prior, you had to check off a compatibility option on the create session window.

Yes, if both systems have PT8, it works fine(best if you check the HFS compatibility when you installed Pro Tools). While I have run sessions on my PC from an HFS+ firewire drive, its best when I copy the session folder onto one of my internal audio drives to work on it(then copy it back when I finish). As said, pre-version 7 has a checkbox to enforce PC/Mac compatibility. You find that box when you create a new session or when you choose File>Save Session Copy.

We have studios that we send files to and recieve files from on a regular basis with no issues. We do as Albee does and copy to an inernal drive for work then copy back to the Mac drive when finished. (consolidated audio files)

I should of elaborated more. Yes if both versions are 7 or later. If before 7 you would need to force mac/pc compatibility when you create the sessions and if I remember I don't think you could do it after the fact. That being said, you could consolidate which has already been said before me. EDIT: I could be wrong about the before and after the sessions are created, it's been too long for me.
