Default Send A-E bus assignments change colour

Hi, Everyone-

This is really a novice's question, but we've all got to start somewhere, right?

I've sent up my signal routing for my headphone mixes. When I record-enable a track, the send bus assignments change from black-on-white to white-on-blue. What does this mean?

The effect I hear is that, while tracking, the signal of the record-enabled track is not being sent to the desired headphone mix.

Please see attached image of the track not record-enabled and also record-enabled.

Thanks!

If you open the floating window for the Send what are the settings?
Also expand the Send lanes fro the track in the Edit Window, feels like some kind of Automation thing

Hi SweetSoul,

When you have "Low Latency Monitoring" activated (Options>Low Latency Monitoring) All sends and inserts are bypassed when the corresponding track is record enabled.

The workaround that a lot of people do for this is to turn low latency monitoring off, then lower your H/W Buffer Size to a value that minimizes the latency to a manageable amount. (Setup>Playback Engine)
