AAF Export without rendering fades?
Hi gang,
Anyone know if it's possible to get Pro Tools to NOT render fades as audio files? When I go from Sequoia to Pro Tools fades are intact but Pro Tools insists on rendering them as files - thoroughly annoying and a workflow killer. I mean, Pro Tools can't really do any funky fades like Sequoia either, so why the render-requirement? I think the Reference Holy Bible Guide mentioned that Pro Tools always render fades, but please let it be wrong...

Re: AAF Export without rendering fades?
I'm wondering the same thing.
When I turn in AAF or OMF to the production company for their editors, can't I somehow keep PT fades without rendering them? They're editing on AVIDs, so you'd think there would be an easy native way to share across. As it is now, The editors end up with a pile of fade files... and they're not loving it. -R |
