Like most of these other posts, What causes the the PT LE to have such problems with software and hardware interfaces?
I have a client doing large 1 hour to 1.5 hour televised concert productions. Xp vs. Win2K I know from the specs that XP for the newer 5.3 is required, but I'm setting up a Dell 650 dual Xeon 2.4 GHZ 1 GB system. SCSI 10K RPM 146GB drive, the video card, Nvidia Quadro 4 900xl. For the 001 vs 002 vs the Mbox what are the advantages and draw back?

I cant get my mBox to work on a Dell 4100, 1Ghz, 512RAM, ATA drives a plenty and Ultra2SCSI RAID system.
better make sure about Digidesigns tight rules on whats needed to run PTLE first before making a purchase.
Good thing I have an G4 933 to fall back on.

XEONs? Let me know if it works. I really don't think that it will but I would love to know if it does. I built a dual 2gig Xeon last summer for the guy that I work for at my day job and I have been curious to see if it would work. I guess I should try it sometime.
BTW, it also had 1GB of RAM and a 160 GB RAID 5 array.
