9073 DAE Error
I have read many threads here about this and tried everything posted so far.
Defragging, disable Spotlight, changed Playback Engine settings moved Session to new Solid State Drive. No Luck. I recently upgraded to a MacPro from PowerPC G5 with PTHD3 using a Magma external Chassis to house the Core and Accel PCI Cards. In the process I removed my Audio Hard Drive from the G5 and put it into the new MacPro. Clean new install of Protools and all Plugins on new 1TB Mac OS HD drive. All of my older sessions play fine (better than before) except for one Session. Only one session starts to play and then after 20 sec everything starts to go nuts and then I get the DAE 9073 Error. It only happens on the one song . . but this song has higher track counts and some automation. I thought that the Audio drive being from the PowerPC and not GUID formatted might be the issue. bought new Solid State drive for all my audio content and transfered it there. Still get the DAE 9073. *** I notice in the Activity Window on this Session that "Disk" is like 94% to 99%. usually on other sessions the Disk is only 1% to 6% I have 48 Voices 3 DSPS selected Could it somehow still be pointing back to the older drive? Could it be the cards in an external Chassis? I have a setting wrong somewhere ? |
