Default transport record lock not working

I can't get ProTools to record from a DA-88 if there is a jump in time-code.

ProTools 7.1 CS6, HD1,Sync I/O, Mac OS X 10.4.3

It used to work with PT 7.0

I've set:

transport recordlock
Track recordLock
record Online at time code lock

At every Time Code jump, PT transport goes out of record mode. But if I don't go Online, I can record, then stop and the transport will stay in record mode.

Strangely it did work partially with a session that had a start time of 20:57:00:02 but in the end I had a session with two blocks missing in the middle and at the end.

I did the usual trash digi pref, database...

I just don't want to baby-sit ProTools and restart the record at every time code jump.

Tanks

JC

If you enable 'jam sync' in session setup does it get PT through the TC breaks?

Actually, never even think of it, as "jam sync" will take over any time code break and ignore any new time code coming in; PT will just generate new time code that follow the one before the break. And the next audio coming in PT will be on a wrong time code.
