Default still getting -9093 errors...

I`ve been trying to fix this problem from more like a year now,i work with a 128 buffer setting all the time, and i don`t want to raise this to 256 because of the latency problem (low latency monitoring limits everything..you know)
and when i have a "high density" session i got this error.
i have already change my ide drivers to the standard ones, and i bought a Promise Ultra133TX2
PCI Ide controller...and the problem is not fixed.

My PC specs:
XP Pro
ATHLON XP 1800+
Asus A7V333 Mobo
256ddr Ram
80G 7200 Ulta ata 133 HD (3 partitions)the seond one is just for audio.

I dont have the problem when i hit play just when i record and not all the time just 50% of the time, i just need to fix this problem....
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME!!!!!!
(Please!?)

(Last year i tried with two drives, you know, 1 for XP system and the other for audio on each ide channel and evrything was the same.)

You really need more ram for that setup. Check the compat docs - I think 384mb is the bare recommended minimum:

I Think that this problem is not related to Ram,
Anybody knows something about this??....

If you have one harddrive split into three partitions it will actually perform worse with ProTools than if you had left everything as one partition. You really need to get a separate, dedicated, 7200RPM drive and dedicate that for audio. That should help immensely.

Upgrade to 512 ram. It's the best $100 investment you can make in your Pro Tools rig. It has a good chance of fixing this problem. Anyone running PT on 256 is making their lives harder than it has to be. Remeber when we say 256 is the minimum we mean minimum. You say you have "high density" sessions.

saludos

jorge
