Default PT Le 8 Additional Content specific

Hi guys, I eventually upgraded to PT Le 8 and was able to successfully install it on both my pc as well as the mbp (15'' 2.53 Ghz).
There are a whole lot of loops( quite huge) that are included with the purchase of PT Le 8 covering a lot of genres.
My question is, are these loops meant for any particular virtual instrument like Boom for example, or is it for general purpose where one can drag n drop into the session and arrange in whatever desired manner? Thanks in advance

Well, you won't be able to use them in Boom, because it doesn't have that capability, but you could use them in any other sampling instrument that accepts those file types.

You can use the additional content any way you would like. You can use them directly in Pro Tools and copy/paste/loop them in any arrangement you want. You can use them in a sampling instrument. However you want.

I have a small tutorial on my website(www.ptnewbie.com) about using REX files in Pro Tools. You may find it helpful.

I think I mentioned this before, but what an incredible site!!!!!!!! Pictures and all! I know I've used PT from the beginning (almost any way), but got stuck on 6.4 for a long time, and still have a lot of catching up to do in PT 8. Thanks spk for all the time invested!!!

Those PT loops are excellent, especially if you rewire them via Ableton Live. I was very impressed with the quality of sound of these loops.
