Default 003 control surface with macOS Sierra 10.12.2?

I have just looked at the 'Avid Knowledge Base Digi 002 and 003 Drivers'
because I need it to be compatible with my 003 (control surface). However, the tabulated information shows it is compatible with:

*macOS Sierra 10.12.1.

It does not show support for:

*macOS Sierra 10.12.2 (which is the current OS)

Is macOS Sierra 10.12.2 Ok with Pro Tools 12.7? Because the support pages only claim 10.12.1?

...Because, I was recently told (at Uni) that macOS Sierra 10.12.2 is a fairly new release from Apple, and as such, is not yet fully qualified for Pro Tools by the lead engineers. However, as it is a minor security and stability update, there should be litte to no problems as the changes are not that drastic. He (Tutor at Uni) went on to say: ''Please do exercise caution though and make sure to follow both Avid's and Apple's pages for updates on both software.

Would that be a fair assumption?
