Hi!

I installed McDSP AAX plugins (the 64bit beta) and they don´t show up in 11.

Any idea anyone???

Same here, I thought maybe because I had to use the "trial license" until the iLok debacle can be sorted out. But none of my 3rd party plugins that I thought were AAX MCDsp and some PSP, show up.

But they show up in 10 (as AAX), so it's not an iLok issue.

No this seems to be some feature of PT 11. When I started up at first there were a number of plug-ins in the plug-ins folder that is moved to the unused plug-ins folder. But still a lot of 3rd party plug-ins were left in plug-ins but not being recognized by PT11.

Same issue here. I haven't explored TOO closely yet, because I thought I must just be doing something wrong and wanted to sleep on it. But I haven't been able to get PT11 to see ANY third party plugins, even the ones that are allegedly 64bit AAX. Is PT11 putting things in a different folder perhaps?

McDSP's plugs are not ready yet for 11.

I can confirm that it's probably because you are not using the aax2 plug from mcDsp. I have installed the blue cat audio plugins and they work properly. So only have to wait for McDsp.

Don't worry, it'll happen very soon.

Spanner also works in PT11, so this isn't a general issue.

If you read McDSP's site closely you'll see that 64-bit AAX is coming soon. It's AU that is 64-bit. They do say you can download beta versions from their Facebook page, but I could only find futz box and channel G, neither of which I have. And not sure the beta offers 64-bit AAX.

Come on 3rd party guys. We need some plugs to go with our new toy. :)
