The Sticky about the Omni Firmware

Is this a new thing? why is it released? The reason I am asking is because I updated the firmware recently and it didn't hang but I am wondering if they release another version..... maybe a 2.11? It would have been nice on the sticky if they said why they posted that.....

Hello YYR123,
It was posted after receiving reports from customers who thought DigiTest was hanging so they quit/restarted before the firmware finished updating. It's not about the firmware version, but the update process itself. If yours completed properly then nothing to worry about there. Best regards, JC
