What's the issue with mult delta 1010's with PT8?

I'm running 2 of them with 7.4 just fine (not the LT deltas btw)

Hi JD,

The instructions state that PT8 M-Powered does not support multiple Delta 1010 cards (and the same for PT7.4).

I had heard that you could use multiple cards if you used an older driver but I'm not interested in doing that.

Did you have to do anything unusual to get PT to see the extra cards?

thanks

Not interested in "doing that"? Remember, the latest driver is NOT always the best driver.

Again, I'm using 2 1010's right now with 7.4 (and other apps) - no problems.

Hi JD,

It's good to hear that you are able to run multiple 1010s - can you tell me what driver you are using?

Can you also see both cards at once to get 16 I/O concurrently?

thanks

Yes, 16 I/O concurrent with these delta 1010's (opamps mods as well).

And sure, I use driver vers: 5.10.00.0051, Panel vers: 1.03.26-2.6.00.
Rock solid with all the apps I use, better panel version compared to the newer I feel.

Using PTMP 7.4 though, which is why I was asking what might be wrong with PT8 with all this.

* I've had 3 delta 1010's running concurrently btw (with Sony Vegas and others).
** keep in mind it's best to link them via spdif (not wordclock)

Thanks for that info GL.

I would like to expand to more than 8 (analog) inputs and thought that adding a 1010LT card to the system would be a cheap option if I could get the system to see multiple cards. I'll see how this goes.

the official line is a link to the maudio website?

If 2 of them are working with 7.4 then it should also work with pt8.
