The Triangle Pencil Tool preference

i run withe power mac G4 digi002r

i would-like to change the The Triangle Pencil Tool preference for more smooth velocity when in Note view inserts a series of MIDI notes.

someone know how to do that (in the pro tools reference guide its written about the midi preference page, but their is nothing about the triangle pencil tool)

I think the triangle pencil tool follows your grid settings for spacing. You can adjust the amplitude with the '[' tool. It's a bit cluncy as compared to simply clicking your points. If you need a sawtooth throughout a song, you might be able to put in a rough grid setting and do a time stretch on a silent track to tweak it into place. A more intelligent automation tool (like several other apps) is definitely needed in PTLE for effects scripting. Sawtooth, sine, 'Z's, sync to beat, etc. Digi, are you taking notes here?
