broken HD Core Accel card and nearest Digidesign Technical Support Office

I don't know much about Hackintoshes, but on my Mac Pro, DigiTest must see the card, otherwise there is none (as in the card or the slot is broken)

Digitest will report whatever interface is connected to the card. If you do not see cards reported, there is no way for Digitest to report a connection to your 96.

Hi, these are the news: (i remember you i have a Core Card PCI-x )
Unespectedly yesterday i redo the digitest, with snake cable NO plugged.
And it recognize the card core.
But it reports some failures (see on the pics attacched please)
Then i try an update to the clock sync firmware (but i don't have any clock hardware) i have only the 96 i/o.
Digitest crashed.
Then i plug the snake cable on the Core card, i redo the digitest:
crashes when analyzing "CPU clock frequency on DSP I " (i)
If i try to launch PT (i have hd8) appears two error messages: -4 and if i press ok the second message: -9003.

Can anybody give me a feddbeck? hat do you think to do? i must buy an used Core card or try again with a technician?

The used PCI-X core cards are selling for less than U.S. $100. It will cost much more than that if your DSP or memory chips are junk.

Buy a used PCI-X core card that is guaranteed functional.

And...

The Sync and Sync HD firmware update is only applicable if you have the 8-pin cable connected between your core card and the Sync. The latest firmware for PT HD10 on the Sync is 121, and it will display briefly when the Sync boots.

If your PCI-X core card has failed (uneconomical to repair), you do not need to worry about updating the firmware on a Sync add-on that you do not own.
