Command 8 and Digital Performer
I'm just in the process of setting up my command 8 to control MOTU's Digital Performer. I can control level pan, etc. for instrument tracks - but I can't do it for audio tracks. Does anyone know how to do this - Are there any preset patches / configurations already written for the command 8 to work with DP? I'm just about to go to Tiger and DP 4.61 (upgrading to DP 5) but I'm using DP 4.12 and Panther at the moment. Any replies would be great to [email protected]

Re: Command 8 and Digital Performer
Command 8 will not work with DP... no work arounds...
I'm surprised you got the instrument tracks to respond... |

Re: Command 8 and Digital Performer
You can use the C8 as a MIDI controller (thus the success you have had with VI's) but not for another app (such as DP). You'll need a HUI spec controller for that, such as a Mackie or M-Audio Project Mix.
