empty chasis

i'm seeing a few empties on ebay - if a 192 comes only with a powersupply - do all i need to do is add one card to 'dongle' on PTHD through my core card...installed with PTHD 7.3 software (that i just nailed for $40 inclding ilok trf fee)

and correct me if i'm wrong - but my upgrade to 9 from 7.3 is $350 from the digistore

hi - i'm checking out a few old cards on ebay

in particular - if i grab an empty 192 and toss a digital exp card in her...can i run PTHD...or am i missng something (ha ha...cause i've been wrong before)

(cause it looks like i could snag an empty rig for $375 toss in a digi exp card for $250 and run my adat bridge through the legacy port for a goodly chunk of inputs...on that point could i just grab an empty 192 and run my adat bridge through the legacy port...and ignore the need of a digi expanson card...just wondering)

checked the digital manual - you need at least one card installed - meaning you can't run a cardless 192's legacy port to an adat bridge to dongle on hd

good news - just scored a used digital 192 with the 2 pre-installed cards for 799 on ebay - all done
