Default Avid Video Engine won't launch

For a few months I've been having a problem with the video engine in PT not launching. Starting with PT11 up to 12.1 same problem. It will work on a fresh install but once I install media composer and the plugins I use no video engine.

Finally today I tracked down the problem. In Media Composer I use quit a few plug-ins including Magic Bullet, NeatVideo, and Film Convert.

Removing Filmconvert from the AVX2 plug-ins folder allows the PT video engine to launch. Every other plug-in works fine but putting the film convert plugin back in the folder will stop the video engine from launching overtime.

Just a heads up for those of you that co-install with media composer. Watch out for film convert.
