Waves C6 is much more versitle than the C4. Has 2 parametric bands in addition to the 4 your used to.

McDSP ML4000 starts to sound strange when the bandwidth is reduced in that it doesn't add together properly. Also no adjustable slope. I'll go back and double check as I love McDSP plugs for the most part and I thought it was unusal to be hearing this.

I haven't used the WaveArts MultiDynamics in a while. I strayed away from it as it added its own signature to the sound that I didn't like.

Best I have found is Alchemy by Flux. Unbelievably flexible. good luck if you find a bug and want it fixed.

I'm looking for a 5 or 6 band Dynamic EQ if anyone know of such a beast. (Sonalksis is the only one I know of...sort of works for me but not quite)

Yeah I mainly use it on a few tracks - u know everybody has those go to plugins for tracks - I use it on bass just to fatten and round the Bottom end - I like the multi band for that

I would imagine the C6 should have more controls - however I don't go to it as much - I leave the main bus unprocessed to deliver it - Master ready (since I just am doing audio)

I really haven't been paying super attention to this AAX thing - I thought waves was not going AAX at all - but looks like Native is secure - great - I don't use them a bunch ($$) but have found the ones I like - I LOVE

I'm still at PT9 which is rocking but if 11 comes ( now I have doubts) in January - I wanted to get an 11rack (for tracking) and PT bundle - its a good deal and useful tool for the Studio verses another amp - (Traynor's Rock - EL34's)

I wondered where I will be if that happened tomorrow (AAX) - thanks guys

that means you can travel time and something like an aax vi or plugin will be of little concern at that point!!!
