Imac + project mix + liquid mix
Hello there,
I would like to buy a liquid mix ( focusrite ) but my set up is quite small: PT-M with project mix I/O on iMac. Someone told me that my Mac has yes 2 firewire but both on the same bus so that probably will cause problems ( too load for a single buss ) Can someone confirm this ? Is there someone with both devices working with iMac ? Thanks in avance :) |

Re: Imac + project mix + liquid mix
I have Mac Pro + Digi 003 + liquid mix, I had to install a extra firewire card in order to have a separated buss, otherwise you start to get drops and error messages, also you have to realize that you need 1 firewire port for your project mix I/O, another one for your external driver, another one for your liquid mix, and hubs are not recommended.
